If you are used to using the Windows NT Resource Kit SCopy Utility to copy files along with their assigned permissions you might have noticed that the utility is not included in the Windows 2000 Resource Kit.
Being that this is something that should have been included with Windows NT to begin with, Microsoft wised up with Windows 2000 and incorporated the functionality into the XCopy utility. The following new command line switches apply:
/o Copies file ownership and ACL information
/x Copies audit information (implies /o)
